I wanted to share a few photos with you to show you how my new 'flip flap puzzle pastes' work!
They work like my previous Puzzle Paste resources - students cut out the squares and match each piece to its correct position on the puzzle. To find the correct position, students may have to recognise or trace a variety of learning content areas - letters, numbers, rhyming words etc.
IN the following example, students each receive a worksheet..
trace the numbers (1-9)....
cut the puzzle pieces...
and match each dot pattern to a number (subitizing).
However, to create the 'flip-flap' glue is applied to the shaded area only.
The piece is placed down, and students can then create a crease, by folding the tab up to the line.
When all the tabs are in position, a picture is created..
Students can view the content on and under each tab...
AND colour their picture in to finish off!
If you would like to try this activity - download the free sample below from Google Drive, by clicking on the image.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
